"I knew she had a super secret surprise for me on the wedding day, but had no idea what it was. I wasn't allowed to see it until we went into the reception area together after the ceremony. I had mostly assumed it was a collection of photos from our time together, like many people do.
In my suit pocket when I put it on was a Toad figure, with a note saying that this was a hint to the surprise. Did she get me a video game system? I could still use an Xbox 360. But that didn't make sense. I really didn't think much about the cake connection given we already had our desert all planned out.
It wasn't until we were walking to see the surprise that someone said they loved the cake, and Annette quickly quieted them. Aha! A cake! She finally got the wedding toppers for a cake. That was awesome!"
